Starts 14 April | 14 Days of Drawing Fun!
Keep your creativity flowing these school holidays with a new drawing prompt each day. Use any drawing materials you like—pencil, pen, markers, crayons, or coloured pencils. Work at your own pace—do one a day or pick your favourites!
Day 1 – 14 April: Your Favourite Animal
Draw your favourite animal—real or imagined. Add a background or setting it would live in.
Day 2 – 15 April: A Magical Tree
Design a tree with a twist! It could grow something unusual (like cupcakes!) or have a hidden door.
Day 3 – 16 April: Something From Your Kitchen
Choose an item from your kitchen (a cup, spoon, fruit, or appliance) and draw it as carefully as you can.
Day 4 – 17 April: An Imaginary Creature
Combine two or more animals to create your own mythical creature. Give it a name!
Day 5 – 18 April: A View From a Window
Look out a window and draw what you see—or imagine what could be out there instead!
Day 6 – 19 April: A Robot Doing Chores
Draw a robot helping out at home—washing dishes, folding clothes, feeding the pets—your choice!
Day 7 – 20 April: Your Dream Bedroom
Design your ultimate bedroom. What would it look like? A slide? A library? A treehouse bed?
Day 8 – 21 April: Something Small Made Big
Choose a small object (like a paperclip or a button) and imagine it at giant size. What would it do?
Day 9 – 22 April: A Self-Portrait as a Superhero
Draw yourself with superpowers. What are your powers, and what would your costume look like?
Day 10 – 23 April: Your Favourite Food
Draw your favourite food as realistically or as cartoony as you like. Add a fun face if you want!
Day 11 – 24 April: A Pet You Wish You Had
Create a pet you’d love to have—even if it’s a dragon, a unicorn, or a talking snail.
Day 12 – 25 April: Something to Remember the ANZACs
Draw a poppy, a soldier silhouette, or something that honours ANZAC Day. Keep it respectful and thoughtful.
Day 13 – 26 April: Under the Sea
Imagine life beneath the ocean—fish, treasure, submarines, mermaids—let your imagination swim wild!
Day 14 – 27 April: Your Favourite Drawing From the Challenge
Choose your favourite day from this list and draw a second version or a new take on it!
