14 Day Still Life Drawing Challenge
Challenge Goal:
Spend 15–30 minutes each day observing and drawing everyday objects found around your home. Remember, art growth happens through regular practice and careful observation.
Day 1 – Favourite Mug
Focus on simple shapes, handles and curved forms.
Day 2 – Fruit Bowl
Explore overlapping objects and composition.
Day 3 – Kitchen Utensils
Draw spoons, whisks or spatulas and look for reflections.
Day 4 – A Pair of Shoes
Study texture, laces and folds.
Day 5 – Houseplant
Observe leaves, stems and repeating patterns.
Day 6 – Stack of Books
Practice perspective and straight edges.
Day 7 – Breakfast Scene
Draw a bowl, cup and spoon together.
Day 8 – Keys and Keyring
Focus on metallic surfaces and detail.
Day 9 – Favourite Toy or Collectible
Observe proportion and personality.
Day 10 – Glass Jar or Bottle
Challenge yourself to draw transparency.
Day 11 – Cushion or Blanket
Explore folds, fabric texture and shadows.
Day 12 – Pantry Objects
Draw tins, packets or containers arranged as a still life.
Day 13 – Bathroom Objects
Soap dispenser, toothbrush holder or perfume bottle.
Day 14 – Artist’s Choice
Return to your favourite object from the challenge and draw it again using all the skills you have developed.
