Week 2 – Feet, Hands, Shoes and Gloves
Option 1 – Hands and Feet in Action
Draw your own hand, foot, shoe or glove. Look closely at the shape, folds, creases and details. You could draw a hand holding something or a shoe viewed from an unusual angle.
Art skill: Proportion, form and observational drawing.
Option 2 – The Great Shape Transformer
Transform a hand, foot, shoe or glove into something completely different. Could a shoe become a submarine? Could fingers become a row of trees? Could a glove become a strange creature?
Creative challenge: Change the purpose of an everyday form while keeping enough of its original shape to recognise it.
